Description of Project: This design-build renovation of the existing
21,670 SF Mother Baby Unit in New Rochelle encompasses Reception/
Waiting Area, NST Room, Labor & Delivery (LDRP) and Postpartum
(PP) patient rooms, Nursery, Triage, and support areas along with an
interior refresh of the existing NICU. Each patient room will be equipped
with a private, ADA-compliant toilet and shower. The scope includes
complete interior upgrades and necessary enhancements to the MEP
infrastructure. The renovated unit will meet Article 28 requirements
and be 昀椀led and approved by the NYS Department of Health (DOH).
Construction is planned to occur in a single phase once NYS DOH grants
approval to divert births to other MMC hospitals.

NOTICE TO BIDDERS
LeChase Construction Services, LLC, an EEO employer is currently seeking
interest from quali昀椀ed and certi昀椀ed NYS M/WBE & SDVOB subcontractors/
vendors for the single prime project: Provide Testing Laboratory, Building 14
DOT Region 1 Project. This project has a Project Labor Agreement associated
with it – please review the Project Labor Agreement requirements in the
Project Manual. The overall project budget indicated in the project manual is
$150,000,000 - $200,000,000. The project is new construction and the scope
of work includes but is not limited to: cast in place concrete, structural &
misc. steel, masonry, metal wall panels, roo昀椀ng, storefronts/curtainwalls &
glass/glazing, doors & hardware, coatings & painting, signage, specialties,
lab equipment & casework, elevators, 昀椀re protection, plumbing, HVAC,
geothermal, electrical (audio video, data/communications, access control, 昀椀re
alarm etc.), sitework, asphalt paving, curbing & sidewalks, landscaping etc.
as indicated on the documents. Overall MWBE Goal of 30% - MBE Goal:
15%, WBE: 15%, SDVOB – 6.5% Bids are due on April 13th, 2026 by 2:00
